Variant 1 offers you a possibility to have unlimited number of domain names or directories pointing to one location, IP address. Software files should be located at one place only and have one database. Basically, it’s one site and a certain number of domains pointing to it. Variant 2

Variant 2 offers you a possibility to have a set number of licenses installed under different domain names, directories, IP addresses. Software files may be located at different places, directories, IP addresses. The sites may have separate databases.
