We are glad to present our monthly newsletter today.
This spring brings much color and challenge to our life and work. We are developing new products, such as Real Estate and get ready the versions of your favorite software — Dating Pro and Mortgage.
The long-awaited video chat module for Dating Pro and other options will be available in a May release. This option has been developed for a long time and at last it’s available for our Dating software. Besides now your users will be able to rate the profiles, see the rating of their profile and comments of the members. We have the option to provide horoscopes for users and calendar at their homepage.
This month we’re also planning to finish up the upgrade for Mortgage Software. The release will be targeted to European countries. That means that the mortgage terms and applications will be adjusted for laws of European countries. We hope this will make you more interested in the sphere and as usual we’re ready to provide full time customer support and care for all our clients.
We’re open to your suggestions today more then ever. You can post your ideas on improvement and development. We’ll appreciate it greatly. Handwriting - give a personal touch to your online profile.
Today I’d like to develop the idea of creating a profile. How can we make it more attractive?
An expert from Online Dating magazine suggests to be creative in your online profile by choosing a font type, size, and color that parallels your personal style and “voice”. The same holds true for your use of emoticons, how you time the sending of your IMs, winks, or emails.
And a thought came into my mind. In a real life we use paper to write the notes and letters. Our handwriting means much and can transfer great amounts of information regardless of our intentions. Thus in online world the font doesn't transfer any personal information unless the author uses some fonts and colors on purpose.
You can use italics as your emotional indicator, show your mental ability by inserting arced, needlelike, or printed (not cursive) connections.
In the case of online dating you could use your own font when writing and colors, besides you could maka an image of your handwriting and attach it as an image to your profile. I suppose this could tell much about your personality. For example …

It looks like you have each city listed with a zip code, however there are 78,000 zip codes in the US and one city can have multiple zip code. Do you have a database load for US zip codes and longitude attributes for proxmity search or is dating pro mainly a UK application and not meant for such a setup?”

Question: “Hello, I a few questions reguarding payments and billing.
The first being, is it possible, with any of the payment gateways (paypal, 2checkout.net, etc.) for there to be "Recurring Payments" (the customer is automatically charged the monthly amount every month) or is it necessary they pay manually at the end of each pay period?
Second, in Admin / Billing / Payment settings. What is a Magix? And what's the difference between "User Accounts" and "Payment by Periods".

Question: “I'm getting a bunch of error message after installing Dating pro.
Notice: Undefined index: login_lg in c:\program files\easyphp1-7\www\dating_pro\include\functions_auth.php on line 168
My setup is: Apache 1.3.2.7 , PHP 4.3.3, MySQL 4.0.15.
The only way I was able to get rid of the PHP NOtices was by setting this in the PHP.ini file:
- Show all errors, except for notices;
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE
There should be a better solution then disabling the notices?
Why are these notices displayed?

Answer: “Notices appear only when you when you run it the first time. And generally speaking, NOTICE messages warns you about possible bugs in your code. For example, use of unassigned values is warned. It is extremely useful to find typos and to save time for debugging.
